L’ Escala is a coastal town in the south of the Golf de Roses and surrounded by beaches and little coves

• “Casc Antic” (the old part of the city), the medieval village of St. Martí d’Empuries.

• “Afolí de Sal” (salt tank from the 17th Century,it has been an historical monument since 1984)

• l’Escala has kept its traditions and fiestas, like the Music International Festival of L’Escala, that takes place in July and August; or the Greco-Roman Fair, with the Historical Market, during the last weekend of June
