Hermitage San Salvador, Calpe, Costa Blanca, Spain

Hermitage of San Salvador is to commemorate the re-conquest of Calpe by James I on the the feast day of San Salvador. The first building dates from the 18th century, and this has been progressively rebuilt over the years. The Ermita is open to the public on San Salvador's day and at Easter.

A Gothic style building with its main door outlined by diaphragm arches on its the north side. The inside is divided into three by pointed arches resting on stone pillars.

From its raised position you can gain a great view over the town.
